Traffic Regulations in Connection with No Parking T R A F F I C R E G U L A T I O N S No. : TP/11 Dated: 20 / 03 / 2020 Whereas it is necessary for the interest of public safety and convenience I, Anuj Sharma, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, in exercise of powers vested in me under Section 115, 117, 122 and 126 M V Act, 1988 and Section 62, 62(1b) of Calcutta Police Act./ 39, 39(1b) of Calcutta Suburban Police Act read with Rule No. 85, 86, 87, 88 and 93 of Rules for the Regulations of Traffic in Kolkata and its suburbs and under sub-section(1) of Section 4 of the West Bengal Traffic Regulations Act, 1965 (W B Act XV of 1965) read with Govt. of West Bengal Home (Transport) Department Order No. 7605-WT, dated the 20th July, 1965 and Govt. of West Bengal Transport Department Notification No. 3363-WT / 3M- 34/99, dated the 29th April, 1999, do hereby order that – the following roads / stretches / carriageway will be “No-Parking” zone for 24 hours under South Traffic Division, Kolkata. This order shall come into force with immediate effect and continue until further order. 1 Airport Road, both Flanks 2 Along P C Connector, both side. 3 Anandapur Road both side 4 B. L. Saha Road 5 B.B.Chatterjee Road, both the sides. 6 Baishnabghata-Patuli Connector entire Stretch, both sides. 7 Banamali Naskar Road, entire Stretch, both Flank 8 Binoba Bhove Road 9 Biren Roy Road East 10 Biren Roy Road(W), entire stretch, both flank except Taxi stand at Shakuntala Park & Shibrampur crossing and existing auto rickshaw stand at northern flank near Behala Chowrasta. 11 Buroshibtala Main Road 12 C N Roy Road (Entire) 13 Chandi Ghosh Road (Eastern side) from Kishore Kumar statue up to Kudghat Bridge. 14 Chowbhaga Road both side 15 Deshapran Sasmal Road in front of Tolly Club to DPS Road & Jubilee Park Road crossing. 16 Dhakuria Station Road up to Dhakuria Rath Bari (crossing of Grade Road), both side. 17 Diamond Harbour Road from Taratalla crossing to Behala Bazar Metro Station, Both flanks (except the following stretches) a) Existing LGV & Taxi Stand at Pathak Para crossing, western flank b) Existing auto rickshaw stand at eastern side of at Grade Road of Taratala Flyover. c) Existing auto rickshaw stand at eastern side of Behala Tram Depot d) Existing Taxi & Auto Rickshaw Stand at Western side of Panchanantala crossing e) Existing Autorickshaw stand of Western side near Banamali Naskar Road crossing f) Rajabazar – Behala Mini Bus Strand on Eastern side between Arya Samity Road and Panchantala Road crossing. 18 Diamond Harbour Road from Behala Chowrasta to Pailan Gate, both flanks, except the following a) From Janakalyan crossing to S-31 Bus Stand Eastern flank for existing S-31, M-16, M-18. b) Near Kadamtala crossing eastern flank for existing Howrah – Sakherbazar Mini Bus Stand. c) Opposite to TKP P.S. eastern flank for existing 40A Bus Stand. d) Near Thakurpukur Metro Station eastern flank for existing Auto Stand. e) In front of Kasturi Nursing Home eastern flank. f) In front of TKP TP Guard outpost at the eastern flank. 1 g) At Diamond Park cut out at the western flank for existing Auto Stand. h) From Diamond Park crossing to 3A Bus Stand western flank for existing SD4, SD4/1 Bus Stand. i) From D.H. If yes, did you know that you may walk into any government health facility of the KMC, NKDA or BMC for getting your 2nd dose, free of cost? However, if your 2nd dose is overdue (>56 days from first dose of Covidshield or >42 days for Covaxin),then just walk into the facilities mentioned (list given). You shall be administered the second dose. For your greater convenience, the government has tagged each private hospital with a government health facility (please see list given) which you can walk into and get your 2nd dose. For example, if you have taken your 1st dose in AMRI Dhakuria, then you should ideally visit the government health facility which is tagged to AMRI Dhakuria i.e., KMC Urban Primary Health Centre - 87 for Covishield and KMC Urban Primary Health Centre - 90 for Covaxin. You can also visit any of the major Government hospitals given in the list for taking your 2ndvaccine dose in a similar walk-in manner, and get yourself vaccinated for free. For vaccination at the said government facilities, please carry one of your photo identification documents like Voter ID/Aadhaar/Passport/PAN Card etc. along with a proof of your first dose of vaccine received (i.e the SMS which you had received on receipt of first dose) The State Government is working to evolve a more precise and convenient information dissemination system for the benefit of all intending COVID vaccines.
