  • Beginning in the Calendar Year 2015, Can You Please Provide an Up-To-Date, Month-By-Month Breakdown Of: 1
Beginning in the calendar year 2015, can you please provide an up-to-date, month-by-month breakdown of: 1. The number of crimes, where the offence location is recorded as 'school', for the following offences: -Possess offensive weapon -Possess offensive weapon on school premises -Threaten with offensive weapon on school premises -Possess firearm etc with intent to endanger life -GBH Wounding. -Attempted murder/murder 2. The type of weapon used 3. The age and gender of the offenders and whether they were charged. 4. The name of the school, where possible Please see the attached document. It is important to note that the figures for sharp or bladed implement do not solely refer to knives. They also cover articles with a blade or point. This can include a piece of broken glass or bottle and also includes offences where threats are made to use a knife but no knife is actually seen. West Yorkshire Police takes a victim led approach to crime recording and we have made some good improvements as to how crime is recorded which is reflected in the consistent numbers across the 3 year period The number of people aged under 18 reported to be in possession of articles with a blade or point, or a knife has increased. Since this increase West Yorkshire Police have placed dedicated Safer Schools Officers who work in partnership with secondary schools across the county. As part of their role, Safer Schools Officers speak to young people about the dangers of carrying a knife and the potential consequences. The Force has also recently supported a national campaign around knife crime, which included enforcement activities such as weapon sweeps, test purchase operations and educational visits.

  • Evidencing-The-Impact-Of-Primary-PE-And-Sport-Premium-Oct-2018A.Pdf
Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer. This means that you should use the Primary PE and Sport Premium to: • develop or add to the PE and sport activities that your school already offers • build capacity and capability within the school to ensure that improvements made now will benefit pupils joining the school in future years Please visit gov.uk for the revised DfE guidance including the 5 key indicators across which schools should demonstrate an improvement. This document will help you to review your provision and to report your spend. DfE encourages schools to use this template as an effective way of meeting the reporting requirements of the Primary PE and Sport Premium. We recommend you start by reflecting on the impact of current provision and reviewing the previous spend. Under the Ofsted Schools Inspection Framework, inspectors will assess how effectively leaders use the Primary PE and Sport Premium and measure its impact on outcomes for pupils, and how effectively governors hold them to account for this. Schools are required to publish details of how they spend this funding as well as on the impact it has on pupils’ PE and sport participation and attainment. We recommend regularly updating the table and publishing it on your website as evidence of your ongoing review into how you are using the money to secure maximum, sustainable impact. To see an example of how to complete the table please click HERE. Support for review and reflection - considering the 5 key indicators from DfE, what development needs are a priority for your setting and your students now and why? Use the space below to reflect on previous spend, identify current need and priorities for the future.

  • RVC Contextual Schools 2015/6
RVC Contextual Schools 2015/6 This data is only valid for applicants applying to the RVC in the 2015 Admissions cycle. The data is updated annually and therefore may be subject to change in future years. Yes in either the level 2 or level 3 column indicates that the school concerned is considered as an RVC Contextual School for that level only (e.g. only where an applicant has taken qualifications at that level and at that institution). A no in either column indicates the school concerned is not considered an RVC Contextual School for that level. Where a school is marked N/A this means that there was insufficient data available to determine whether the school was considered as an RVC Contextual School.
