Ahaarya – The Dance Society Activities 2018-19 Ahaarya has been recognised various times by news giants like Delhi Times, Local Turn on, DU Express, etc. The society has dancers and connections with the best dance clubs of the country and is mentored by renowned artists like Abhibhav Sharma, Aastik Tewatia, Sangram, Helen Koroji, Shubham Sharma, Rakshit Arora, etc. Also, the team has been invited to participate at India’s best dancing platforms like India’s Got Talent, Dance Plus and many more. The society was headed by: President –Sheetal Khandari Vice President – Pooja Meena Treasurer - Mitu Das The choreographer for the year was Gaurav Rawat. The society’s participation through the session 2018-19 were : • Kinesthesia at Karvaan’19 (Choreography) – This event was organised by Ahaarya on February 14th, 2019. This competition was judged by a renowned dancer, Ms. Ashna Katoch. • Dancellenium 1.0 at Karvaan’19 – It was a solo dance competition organised by Ahaarya on February 15th, 2019. The Judge for the competition was a versatile dancer, Mr. Abhibhav Sharma. • Dancellenium 2.0 at Karvaan’19 – It was a duet dance competition organised byAhaarya on February 15th, 2019. This competition was also judged byMr. Abhibhav Sharma. • Beat puppets at Karvaan’19 – A dance competition organised by Ahaarya on February 15th, 2019. This competition was judged by Mr. Abhibhav Sharma and his colleague Mr. Gaurav Rawat. • Fusomania (Diwali Mela) – It was a dance competition held on the November 2nd, 2019. It was organised by Ahaarya. Ahaarya's achievements through the session 2018-2019 are as follows : • The Dance Festival – 2nd Prize • IIMT – 2nd Prize • Jaipuria Institute of Management – 2ndPrize • IPEM, Ghaziabad – 1stPrize • JSS, Noida – 2ndPrize • Aditi Mahavidyalaya – 3rd Prize. .
