EUPHORION NEWSLETTER week 12

Dear all,

In this newsletter, we will give an update on our corona policy and what this will mean for upcoming activities in March and April. We will also give a quick update on the situation for our trip to Budapest. Next, we will share a few activities that we have planned for April. Lastly, instead of just sharing one single TIP to make your life better, we will share a whole bunch of tips and tricks to survive the boredom of being home all the time.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM EUPHORION

Activities

In March and April, we have no activities planned due to our corona policy. We have come to this decision based on the government’s strong recommendation to work from home as much as possible and to avoid non-essential group gatherings. This is also in line with the university’s new policy to avoid face-to-face contact as much as possible.

This means that the following events and activities are canceled:

● The inside the bookstore event on Monday the 16th ● Our monthly drinks on Thursday the 19th rd th ● Our movie night in week 13 (23 – 29 )

st So far, all measures have been set in place until April 1 , but we cannot yet say what will happen after that. We will keep you updated on our future events and possible new dates for the canceled activities. We have planned a few activities in April, but we share these dates with reservation and we cannot guarantee that these will take place as we have planned. But, don’t be sad, we have a lot of fun, fantastic activities planned for the rest of the year!

If you have any questions, comments or just a need to talk about something, please don’t hesitate to contact us! You can always reach us via this email or on WhatsApp.

Corona and Budapest

We've obviously all had questions about our upcoming trip to Budapest, since the corona virus is really making things difficult. Unfortunately nothing is certain just yet. Some of the planned activities have already contacted us to let us know that they might have to cancel, and others told us that we can still come. So far it's still okay for us to go there and we haven't had to cancel anything. The next few weeks we will make sure to call and email everyone and everything involved to be able to keep you updated. If we do have to cancel anything or maybe even the trip we will make sure to let you know as soon as possible and try to compensate as much as we can.

Staying sane

1. Call your grandmother/grandfather instead of visiting them 2. Download the app Bunch! You can facetime with your friends while playing games. Sanne and Evi have already played *some* games. Mars Dash is iconic.

3. Practice yoga from home using a video instead of a live instructor. 4. Read a book (for pleasure!!!) 5. Paint or knit or draw something. 6. Learn to play a new song on the guitar or piano 7. Make a puzzle. 8. Start a book club, film club or podcast club. Create a group chat with interested people, choose a book, read it and discuss it via Whatsapp or video chat. 9. Bake something or try a new recipe. 10. Be bored! We are not used to doing nothing anymore, so use this time wisely and enjoy doing nothing.

Until next time,
