• Having a signed sail maker’s certificate for any new or repaired sail will have certificate updates easier • Ensure that Sail Maker include all the measurements needed by the Universal Measurement System (UMS) including TW and, additionally for symmetrical spinnakers, its max‐girth, a PHRF‐LO particularity

2019‐05‐08 11 Wednesday Night Impressment QCYC Club Racing Notice of Race (NOR) allows the Race Committee impress members of a QCYC racing sailboat to the Race Committee, if required (NOR 1.8)
• Looks like 2019 might be the year that we have to use this, as we are short on Race Committee Volunteers, especially for the Mark Boat • Will randomly pick sailboats and put them on this list – If primary pick is needed and isn’t present, will impress another sailboat – Discussion on selection process? It’s in your best interest for all racers to beat the drums amongst non‐racing members of all member classes to have them volunteer for theRaceCommittee 2019‐05‐08 12 Wednesday Night Impressment
• Race Officer will be needed for – Wednesday, July 24th – Wednesday, July 31st – Wednesday, August 14th – Wednesday, August 21st • Other roles needed – Coxswain for Kay Walker, need to be approved to helm – No coxswains, no mark boat – Assistant Race Officers; Line judge, timer, visual signals, records, mark layers – Scorer after racing – Announcer for results each Wednesday
