Avec le départ du 104e Tour de France à Düsseldorf, une belle page du cyclisme français est à nouveau sur le point d’être écrite. C’est avec une immense joie et fierté que nous allons accueillir pour la 6e fois dans la commune de Mamer les meilleurs cyclistes internationaux à l’occasion du passage du Tour de France 2017. Évidemment, le cyclisme et surtout le Tour de France se réjouissent encore et toujours d’une grande popularité aussi bien qu’en France qu’au Luxembourg. C’est grâce aux bons résultats de coureurs luxembourgeois tel que Kim Kirchen, Frank et Andy Schleck, Laurent Didier, Ben Gastauer et Bob Jungels, qui ont participé au long des années à la Grande Boucle, que des luxembourgeois se déplacent, surtout pour les étapes en montagne, afin de voir leurs idoles lors du Tour de France.
