January 1946 EXHIBITIONS The selection of French paintings and drawings on loan from French Government will continue on view throughout January. These works of art have been familiar to Gallery visitors during the war period. This exhibition will probably be their last showing be fore they return to France. LECTURES On January 27, Miss Elisabeth Puckett will lecture on "The Parisian Rebels of 1'863," those young artists who refused to con form with the tradition of their day, and whose works were first assembled for public exhibition at the Salon des Refuses. Formerly a member of the Gallery's staff, Miss Puckett is at present doing independent research in this field on a Fellowship from the Ameri can Association of University Women. ^ TOURS GENERAL SURVEY. Monday through Friday at 11 a. m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays at 11 a.m. FOR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN. Saturdays at 2 p.m. SPECIAL APPOINTMENTS. Groups of fifteen or more desiring special guidance should apply one week in advance to the Educational Department. HOURS Weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Closed January 1. Admission free.
