This section of the report reviews relevant buildings in the area and clearly demonstrates the principal of lighting other nearby institutional buildings.

In addition to the site contextual buildings, the following 14 13 pages also include photographs of relevant 5 star in London which we believe are of similar quality and presence to the Old War Office. 12 Lighting such buildings is well established and it would therefore appropriate for the Old War Office with its new 15 use as a 5 star hotel and residences. It actually shows that it is essential for the buildings 17 façades to be illuminated with care to make sure it has appropriate presence. 16
