• Indian Coast Guard Ship C-453 has been commissioned at Chennai to join the Coast Guard • It is the 17th of the 18 Interceptor Boat (IBs) project indigenously constructed by Larsen & Toubro Ltd. • ICGS C-453: 27.8-metre-long Interceptor Boat with a displacement of 105 tonnes and Max Speed of 45 knots (85 kmph) • It will be deployed extensively for Exclusive Economic Zone surveillance • With this, Indian Coast Guard now have 157 Ships, Boats and 62 Aircraft

Moody’s projects India’s GDP to contract 7% in FY21.
