Bishops Transcripts were consulted to cover the gaps in the registers

Shrivenham Parish, in the County of Berkshire until 1974 and thereafter in Oxfordshire, consisted of the villages of Shrivenham, Watchfield and Bourton. Watchfield had its own registers from 1858 and Bourton registers began in 1860.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Thanks go to Shrivenham P.C.C., the vicar of Shrivenham & Berkshire Record Office for permission to transcribe these registers; Wiltshire Record Office for allowing the Bishops Transcripts to be extracted.
