She will accept the award at the 43rd annual Gracie Awards Gala highlighting women in television, radio, cable and social media in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, May 22. “I’m extremely thankful to be recognized by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation with a Gracie Award,” said Oliver. “I can recall a time in sports television when there weren’t as many women in the forefront or behind the scenes but thanks to key decision makers, women are recognized more and more for their contributions to sports media.” Oliver currently serves as senior correspondent, contributing feature stories and sideline reports for FOX NFL and FOX NFL SUNDAY. Oliver has been part of FOX Sports family for over two decades and has been part of FOX’s coverage of eight Super Bowls since joining the network in 1995. A graduate of Florida A&M University, Oliver earned her degree in broadcast journalism and was a NCAA and AIAW track and field All-American in both the 400 meters and the mile relay. She was inducted into her alma mater’s sports hall of fame in 1996. The Gracie Awards celebrates the individual achievements and impeccable programming created by, for and about women in radio, television, cable and interactive media.
