Datalogics announces the availability of the Merriam-Webster in-app dictionary in DL Reader

Chicago, IL, October 6, 2014 — Datalogics, the premier source for Adobe PDF and eBook technologies, today announced the availability of the Merriam-Webster in-app dictionary for use within eReading devices and Android apps. Through a collaboration with Merriam-Webster, America's leading English language reference publisher, the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary with Audio is now available to all licensees of Adobe Reader Mobile SDK, an eReader toolkit for displaying EPUB and PDF documents onscreen.

Under the terms of the agreement, Datalogics RMSDK customers can obtain the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary with Audio directly from Merriam-Webster, and Datalogics will provide the necessary framework to ensure its compatibility with RMSDK. The Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary with Audio is currently available for Android OS only.

In addition, the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary with Audio is also incorporated into the free downloadable DL Reader client.
