One child was red and hairy all over (Esau) and the other was holding his brothers heel so he was named (Ya’akov- November 8—see page 13 ekev being a heel!). Each brother possessed qualities that the other did not have. Is that the way it is/was with your siblings? Has there been a struggle in your household with a sibling? Sometimes we find struggles in our children for dominance for a parent’s attention or love. This is the gift of growing up with a sibling. We generally don’t recognize this as positive during those years. The mere fact that we struggle with relationships in our family teaches us that we can’t always get what we want or have our way. Various situations in a family CBS BOOK CLUB provide leadership opportunities and sometimes see page 12 not. We as children all vie for attention. These are the facts of life. One thing is for sure. We sometimes cannot overcome an argument with a BBB sibling….but in a larger percentage of the time we can either negotiate or talk through an issue if Bazaar both parties are willing. Are you willing? Read Brunch the story…you’ll see the struggle…one parent Book Faire favors one child over another, one brother struggles with the other…exciting stuff! please see In Cantorial school at the Academy for Jewish Page 7 Religion CA (AJRCA.org), I took a class on “How

Children at our CBS Religious School have the benefit of hands on learning through the love and care of Marta Driz (Arrianna Wolfe’s grandmother) who shares her talent and skills including baking.

Like baking, the children are taught that ingredients in a recipe are important, if you leave one out, the baked product doesn't taste the same. As in life, certain “ingredients” are important to ensure you are a productive and contributing citizen— always striving to help others.
