Atwater Summer Recreation 2004 “To provide a safe, fun, and energizing environment for all school-aged children throughout the Atwater Area” SUMMER 2017 STINGERS BASEBALL CAMP - Friday June, 30 Willmar Stingers players will provide instruction and basic skills knowledge of the game of baseball. Come to enjoy a fun morning of baseball provided by Division I athletes. Each participant registered will also receive a FREE ticket to a Stingers game. Group Ages Days Time Area Cost A. Stingers Ages 7-14 Friday 10:00-12:00 AM Kingery Field $20 CO-ED T-BALL May 31st – July 7th T-Ball: All kids will learn the basics of hitting, catching, running and Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs much more. T-Ball Advanced 5-6 Tu&Th 9:00-9:45 AM Softball Field (By the golf course) $35 ELEMENTARY BASEBALL All participants will practice their skills and play in scheduled games May 31st – July 20th throughout the summer. The original ice sheet opened for business in November of 1972. For over 15 years, the MAC was the only sheet within a 30 mile radius. Originally, the MAC hosted three area high schools, St. Cloud State and St. John's University hockey programs, plus the areas youth hockey and figure skating organizations. With the increase in skating over the last 12 years, St. Cloud has seen ice sheets added to St. Cloud State University and the Benton County Fairgrounds.
