We live in an environment that is vulnerable, unpredictable, complex and at the same time ambiguous. To survive in this environment, it is our moral obligation to enhance the competency levels of our students and to prepare them to face the odds. The B.Com (H) Programme is a well- integrated Programme designed to meet higher academic standards in the forthcoming years and to prepare young minds to deal, meticulously, the complexities in the field of Commerce and Management. Ever since we started the Programme in 2014, there has been an overwhelming response from all quarters of the society. Since then we are continuously striving to march ahead successfully to impart value education to the students. The entire curriculum is devised to match up with the global standards and at the same time serves as a bridge between the academia and industry. The salient feature of this programme encompasses a wide range of vocational and interdisciplinary subjects to be selected as per the interest of the students. Eight specializations offered at B.Com (H) including foreign languages is one of the unique feature of this three year programme. Our dedicated faculties, drawn from different areas of specialization - both from the academia and industry - are the backbone of this programme. (Honours) As we progress successfully into, yet, another year with ample of objectives accomplished, our unstinting drive to meet further dynamic academic challenges persists. The B.Com. (Honours) program revolves around three pronged KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) approach. Along with the knowledge component considerable emphasis is given on a range of skills including communication, decision making and other soft skills as well as attitude sensitizing and inculcating a sense of social responsibility in every student. Our program is dovetailed with a unique rigorous summer internship for gaining corporate exposure followed by a project study in the final year. Several combinations of pedagogical techniques is used in the classroom at least to trigger one or more of the multiple intelligence that our students possess, in order to maximize individual learnability and to ensure that the teaching- learning process leads to a positive outcome.
