The American Pop Artist Jeff Koons Designed Lady Gaga's 4Th CD Album The American Pop artist Jeff Koons designed Lady Gaga’s 4th CD album “ARTPOP”. He chose my work of illusion multiple shapes as a design on this CD, which can be said as ‘an exceedingly rare’ case in history of illusion study. Besides that, you can see the sense of Koons’ humor inlaid. Here, you can see a kind of transparent blue ball in front of the crotch of Gaga (work of Koons). It says ‘ARTPOP’. This implies the parodied meanings of POP ART. Speaking of pop art works, Andy Warhola and Roy Lichtenstein and are famous; also Richard Hamilton’s work "Just what is it that makes today's homes so different, so appealing? (Produced in 1956) is important in pop art history. A picture of a big candy package illustrated POP (lollipop: this is a licking candy) held by mucho Muscles man. There is a saying that the trend picture of what we call as ‘pop art’ has started from this illustration. (Materials such as magazines, advertisements, Manga, news photography, to express the theme of mass production and mass consumption of modern society). While on the other hand, there is another saying that ‘pop art’ came from POPULAR art theory. When you compare the two pictures, you can see that the design of Gaga’s CD has become a homage (tribute) of the work for Hamilton. It also shows the cult of pop art maniacally. It is also worth noting that illusion works are ‘invited’ to the world of art, and it is my pleasure to see that visual illusions are now one of ‘frequently recognized’ things. In this sense, Visiome PF has been contributing 24 hours. 2013/11/8 Dr. Akiyoshi KITAOKA Ritsumeikan University .

  • Lady Gaga Is Still Schooling Marketers
forbes.com http://www.forbes.com/sites/deniselyohn/2014/07/16/lady-gaga-is-still-schooling-marketers/ Lady Gaga Is Still Schooling Marketers Lady Gaga might not be dominating the headlines and airwaves as she has in years past, but she still has plenty of marketing smarts for marketers to learn from. Lady Gaga presents her current “artRave: The Artpop Ball” tour concerts through elaborate sets, crazy dancers, and an array of antics and anthems. The concerts are sensory-overload spectacles, gaudy gigs — and breakthrough brand experiences. Businesspeople looking to make an indelible in-person impression through customer experience should follow her lead. Lady Gaga changes costumes at least six times over the course of the two-hour concert, demonstrating the power of continuous innovation in experience design. The new outfits reveal different her sides and keep things fresh and surprising. As a concertgoer, you’re constantly looking forward to what outfit she’s going to show up in next – the anticipation and ensuing novelty hold your attention. Brands should aim to bring a similar degree of innovation, diversity, and new-ness to their customer experiences. Instead of thinking of your store as a static setting, consider how to make it more of a working stage. Instead of locking in your website design, logo, visual images, and avatars, think about how to refresh them frequently enough to attract and keep people’s attention. Plus, Lady Gaga executes one of her costume changes on-stage. Seeing Lady Gaga topless may be as jarring as seeing her head adorned with nothing but a wig cap.

November 11, 2013 By: John Russell (/authors/john-russell) (Lady Gaga) We rolled into the office at 2pm today, and the reason is this: Lady Gaga literally tried to kill us last night. When Mother Monster throws a party, it’s serious business, people! We arrived at the cavernous space in the Brooklyn Navy Yard last night by boat, peeking in at the step-and-repeat where Gaga happened to be posing for photographers at that very moment. Inside, the enormous bone-white Gaga effigy sculpted by Jeff Koons stared blankly across the space at the stage. Between those two focal points guests milled about amongst other gleaming Koons statues, sipping whiskey and champagne. (Those two very specific libations should have been our first clue that Gaga had it in for us—an all expenses paid one-way ticket to Hangoversville, U.S.A.) Huge video screens played those Marina Abromovic videos of the pop star wandering around the woods naked. The Voss NYC-curated crowd was a who’s who of gay New York: Susanne Barsch, Frankie Sharp, Dangerous Muse frontman Mike Furey, Acid Betty, Ladyfag, David Serrano, Jeff Chatterton, Jinkx Monsoon, Tyler Stone.

    U. S. MUSIC INDUSTRY YEAR-END REVIEW 2013 U.S. Music Industry Year-End Review Copyright © 2013 The Nielsen Company WELCOME ERIN CRAWFORD Music is everywhere. Anybody that doubts the impact of music in popular culture needs SVP Entertainment to look no further than a review of 2013. Beyoncé bookended the year - first with her performance during the half-time show at the Super Bowl (joined by her former Destiny’s General Manager, Music Child bandmates) and closing the year with her “surprise” audio/video release, which has Nielsen already become one of the ten best selling digital albums of all time with over a million digital albums sold in just three weeks. In between, music fans were treated to a year of creative release events by such artists as Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga and Daft Punk. In addition to the great awards shows and celebrations, such as the Billboard Music Awards and the Grammy Awards, we were also brought the first YouTube Music Awards, celebrating the consumer’s favorite video streams of the year – this amid continued growth in all forms of music streaming. With year-over-year growth of 32% in streaming consumption (to over 118 billion streams) and with Nielsen consumer research showing that 68% of U.S. consumers reporting streaming music in the past year, we are seeing a surge in music consumption. As is always the case with the music industry, technology is an ever-changing driver of how music is consumed, and today’s consumer has more access to music than ever before - from their connected devices to the all-access models that digital presents.

The judge considered the report when he ordered Brown to spend three months in a residential treat- ment facility and to submit to drug testing. The rehab center is not identified in the letter. It says Brown threw the rock at his mother’s car after a joint coun- seling session Nov. 10. The incident was a violation of an agreement the singer made to refrain from violence when he entered treatment. The singer appeared in court Wednesday with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran and only spoke once to acknowledge he agreed to the terms imposed by the judge. Brown was in court for the first time since he was arrest- ed last month on a misdemeanor assault charge in Washington. A 20-year-old man accused Brown of punch- ing him after he tried to get in a photo with the singer.
