Widgets Weekly: The Art of Covering Congressional Minutiae To compile this chart of trade press organizations, The Politico reviewed the lists of all credentialed print media that covered the 109th Congress. The lists are compiled by the House and Senate press galleries. (The list for the current Congress will not be available for several months.) For the purposes of this list, we defined the trade press narrowly, excluding congressional newspapers such as The Hill and Roll Call. (We also would have excluded ourselves, but The Politico began publishing during this session of Congress.) We also excluded most of the financial press unless the publication was tailored to bond traders or another very specific sector.
