The brainchild of poet Chris Grahn, each month focuses on a village personality, with a poem written by Chris and a painting by either Joy Pirkle or Reg Snook. There are also listings of events. It was launched at a special evening in St Mary’s Church in June when each poem was read by a different villager, interspersed with music. Copies were first made available at the village show. It is of one of a pair of fossilized red deer heads taken from the river Waveney, out of a hole, 6 feet belowthe river bed, washed out by a floodin July, 1913.
