P 24 P 1 A special note from your local EDA Buzz‘s Several years ago your city and county governments formed a new Eco- Notes nomic Development Authority and purchased several tracts of land to form a new Business & Industrial Park in Harrison County. The land purchase and devel- opment costs were anticipated to justify the endeavor. All had hoped to sell the devel- oped land in order to create jobs and increase the tax revenues for both govern- ments, thus a win-win situation for our county. This has not materialized as quickly 24 Hour Tow Service as we had hoped, however, we want you to know what your local Economic Develop- 202 W. In the past your EDA employed representatives to help lure additional businesses to the park, but were unrewarded for their efforts, thus creating a large cost to our citizens. We understand your frustration and we are working hard to correct past mistakes.
