THE VOICE OF CATHOLIC ANGLICANS Together EASTER 2016 11 My name is Alexander Hello! My name is Alexander, and I am thirteen years old and attend Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield. I have been going to church, at St Gabriel's Fullbrook, ever since I can remember, but after an inspiring visit to the Shrine of Our Lady Of Walsingham I began thinking about Our Lady's ‘yes’. I learnt to serve as thurifer and crucifer, and I now serve at the Parish Mass every Sunday. More recently, I started attending some evening Masses at a closer society parish, where I often read and serve.

On the feast of Christ the King this year, I was admitted to the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. I believe that joining the Confraternity is a very special way of honouring Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and supporting parishes that may not have the resources to celebrate the Eucharist with dignity. Amongst other things, the Confraternity supplies chasubles and tabernacles to parishes that need them.

This is extremely important as it means the sacrifice of the Mass can be offered more readily and that more people can pray to our Lord in the form of the .
