There are few better ways to enjoy the company of your friends and family or build closer team bonds with colleagues than combining your visit to the Midlands with the unique shared experience of our The Old Railway Greenway Athlone-Mullingar Segway Fun-Glide.
This is a ‘must’ Segway for the adventurer who likes getting out in the fresh air, have fun and enjoy the exhilaration of riding a segway with friends. Start in Athlone, Moate, Castletown or Mullingar and follow the path East or West, whichever you prefer, and follow the old railway line as it snakes along the canal and countryside. Choose one of the 3 stages for your 2 hour segway tour or double up and spend a half day and you’re in Segway heaven. But don’t let the distance scare you. You glide effortlessly by Segway, so why not hop off and visit Dún na Sí Amenity & Heritage Park along the way. You’ll meet everyone on the route from passionate enthusiasts to those out for the fresh air. This is a dedicated greenway with no road traffic, so think of the tranquility too... as you retrace the old train journeys of old as you follow the old rail track under arched bridges, through a tunnel and past beautiful countryside all the way across the Central Midlands of Ireland.
Your Segway Tour can take the form of a 1 hour out and 1 hour back format, alternatively we can arrange for a 2 hour one-way glide so that you can enjoy new vistas for the entirety of your journey. We can also arrange and book return transport for your group to your starting point if you wish.
Our Segway Fun-Glides are suitable for all able-bodied adults and teenagers being easy to learn, safe and reliable while, most importantly, being huge fun! You will Require no previous experience as full training will be provided by our skillful and patient instructors who will expertly guide and entertain you through your journey of discovery.

Payment Terms & Booking your Event: ● 25% deposit to secure booking. ● 75% balance deposit at least 14 days before activity date. ● 100% payment if booking within 14 days of event date. ● No refunds for cancellations, no-shows or reduced group sizes. ● Bookings are only secured upon payment of deposit. ● All bookings and event start times are taken on a first come basis. ● Minimum group sizes apply for all Segway Fun-Glides ● We really do book out fast so don't delay between your Enquiry & Confirming your Booking

Weather ● Our Segway Fun-Glide Experiences will run rain or shine. ● Dress weather appropriately...as it does occasionally rain in Ireland. ● Gloves are always recommended to keep your little pinkies warm.

Training ● All participants undergo intensive Segway rider and safety induction training. ● Training times may vary according to group. ● Training time and the skills learned during this time is very much a part of your experience ● All participants sign and agree Liability Waiver agreements.
Permitted Participants ● All participants must be over 12 years old. ● 13 - 16 year old participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult. ● Participant must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time ● Participant must be able to step on and off the Segway PT unaided. ● We are unable to provide our full range of activities for expectant mums. ● Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or mind altering drugs. ● We reserve the right to refuse or suspend a participation for Health or safety reasons.
Venues ● We are a fully mobile nationwide Segway Tour & Event Operator. ● We have many venues throughout Ireland. Have a look at our venues map ● We can on some occasions organize and source other venues close to our customer, by request. ● We reserve the right to change venue or routes where circumstances necessitate. ● As a mobile event company, we travel to each event and on very rare occasions, start times may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. ● We reserve the right to revise the start time of your event by up to 1 hour - We will always contact you in these circumstances.

Photography & Videography ● We take and share with you oodles of complimentary photos and video footage of each event. ● Photos and videos are shared with the client leader via WhatsApp on the day of your event. ● Just enjoy and share them with your group. .and tell your friends about us. …
Aerial Drone Videography We have an amazing DJI Phantom 4 Aerial Video/Photo Drone that takes 4K quality footage. We arrange and provide Aerial Drone Videography of your event, subject to venue and weather conditions on the day. Just let us know if you require this service and we will bring it along on the day.
