Junior Ranger Programme During this Junior Ranger training we discuss interesting bush aspects. The “Rangers” will be given “funwork” not “homework”. This is a booklet for them to complete before or during the afternoon drive. The booklets are then marked and we print certificates stating that each kid is now a Junior Ranger of Madikwe Hills. We have a small awards ceremony at Pre-dinner drinks in front of all the adults. At Madikwe Hills Junior Rangers will enjoy a hands-on experience by touching elephant dung, looking at tracks, finding out HOW to track. Learning about termites while standing next to a large termite mound etc... the fun never stops – an exciting and education experience for all ages. This programme can be run for 2 – 3 hours in one day, or if the guests are staying for more than two nights it can broken up into two days. A range of fun exercises are done with the junior rangers and they leave with a Junior Ranger Certificate.
