LOCKINGTON SCHOOL NEWS

Grade 5/6 Netball Tournament Last week our Grade 5/6 students travelled to Echuca to compete in the Echuca Netball Competition. It was a great day had by all (even if the weather wasn’t so great) and the students should all be proud of the way they played. It is always fantastic to compete at these events against other schools from the area. A special mention to one of our teams, Locky Black who finished on top of the ladder in their competition. The players will receive medallions for their efforts. Well done! Thank you to Melinda Jones, Michelle Stone and James Hodgens for coaching the teams on the day. Thank you also to Mrs Angove who spent time training the teams in the lead up to the event.
