HOW DO I PAY FOR ONBOARD PURCHASES? All Celebrity ships operate on a ‘cashless’ system priced in US Dollars. Simply validate your Celebrity SeaPass® account with a credit card at the cruise check-in desk or during online check-in, then use your SeaPass card to sign all onboard purchases to your account. At the end of your cruise you’ll receive an itemised statement to settle using your credit card, cash or both.

WHAT ARE ONBOARD TIPS/GRATUITIES? It’s customary to extend tips to our onboard staff who work so hard to provide great service to you. If you’ve chosen not to pre-pay tips/service charges, then for your convenience, we’ll automatically add this daily to your SeaPass account for main dining restaurant and stateroom services.

2. CHECK-IN ONLINE To speed up the boarding process, we strongly recommend you check in for your cruise online. You can do this anytime, from the day you book until three days before departure, although we advise you do it as soon as possible after booking. You should allow about 15–20 minutes for the entire process, and you’ll need your passport details to hand. The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section on our website includes a help guide for online check in.

3. BOOK SHORE EXCURSIONS Shore excursions are a great way to explore our fascinating ports of call, or try out new activities. They do fill up fast though, so we recommend you book early to avoid missing out. When you log in to Check In, you’ll find plenty of useful information about the ports you’ll be visiting and the excursions on offer, so do make sure you take a look. Shore excursions are usually available for booking from five months before your cruise. Once within 5 days of sailing, you’ll only be able to book onboard, so we suggest pre booking in order to confirm the tours you want to do.
