As a young boy growing up in the suburbs (originally Sydney), Meks was awakened to the sleeping beast that was graffiti in the early 1980’s. Subjected to a world of colour and creation, using an unusual medium, Meks began to draw faces of cartoon characters with letters, eventually spraying onto surfaces at an early age.
