Visit to Oxford

n Tuesday 8th May, myself and nine other Ostudents from Year 10 went on a trip to Oxford, where we visited one of the most well known colleges of Oxford University – Christ’s College. We began the day with a question and answer session with two students of the college. They told us about college life, the luxurious accommodation and the various subjects available, ranging from Computer Science to Celtic History. After a brief tour of the college grounds, we had our lunch in the Hall, which resembled the Great Hall of Hogwarts. It was by far the highlight of the trip! We were then assigned a scavenger’s hunt, which consisted of spotting 8 men with beards, 10 bicycles and 12 smiling students. When the time came to leave we were given an information booklet on how to apply to the University. It was a very enjoyable experience and I am sure that nearly everyone who went on the trip hopes to study there in the future, myself included. Kyriaki Kyriacou 10J2
