west coast music Encore Please find attached the Encore Band song list for your review. SPECIAL DANCES for Weddings: Please note that we will need to have your special dance requests, (I.E. First Dance, F/D Dance, etc) FOUR WEEKS prior to your event so that we can confirm the band will be able to perform the song(s) and so that we have time to locate sheet music and audio of the song(s). In some cases where sheet music is not available or an arrangement for the full band is needed, this gives us time to properly prepare the music. Clients are not obligated to submit a list of general song requests. Many of our clients ask that the band just react to whatever their guests are responding to on the dance floor. Our clients that do provide us with song requests do so in varying degrees. Most clients give us a handful of songs they want played and/or avoided. If you desire the highest degree of control (asking the band to only play within the margin of songs requested), we would ask for a minimum 80 requests from the band’s songlist. Please feel free to call us at the office should you have any questions. – West Coast Music SONGLIST: At Last – Etta James 1,2,3,4 – Plain White T’s Baby Got Back – Sir Mix A Lot 24K Magic – Bruno Mars Back at One – Boyz II Men A Thousand Years – Christina Bad Day – Daniel Powter Perri Ballad Of John & Yoko Ain’t too Proud to Beg – Bamboleo – Gipsy Kings Temptations Bang my Head – David Guetta/Sia Adventure of a Lifetime – Beast of Burden – Rolling Stones Coldplay Beautiful Day – U2 After All – Peter Cetera/Cher

It brings together the best of the decade’s New Wave, rock, and punk artists for a star-studded night. The Go-Go’s, one of the most popular groups of the ’80s, became the first, and only, all-girl group to top the charts by writing and performing its own original songs. AllMusic called its triple platinum debut album, Beauty and the Beat, “one of the cornerstone albums of New Wave.” The album featured the power-pop hits “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.” Video: The Go-Go’s—“We Got the Beat” Scandal, fronted by singer/songwriter Patty Smyth, took advantage of the ’80s foray into music videos by using both its image and voice to captivate audiences.

NEW CONSERVATORY THEATRE CENTER Head Over Heels DEC 6 JAN 12 2019 – 2020 Your stories. Our stage. This season. 2019–20 Season WELCOME from the Founder & Artistic Director Yes people, we got the beat! But in the imaginary Kingdom of Arcadia its joyous sound has become muted. The inhabitants are adrift and their ruler, to put it mildly, has lost his way. Polarized, frazzled and generally a mess, the rhythm of life across the land is completely out of sync. Thank goodness this is all make-believe. It could never happen in our world, right? For we understand the power of unity. That when we stand together in dignity for all, everything is possible. We also know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that love and respect are the basic ingredients of a healthy society. It is also abundantly clear that the right to be who you are, love who you want, and to live in peace are among our highest priorities. Would we ever stray from these principles? Of course not. But, if by chance we ever did, then a course correction would be immediate and harmony across the land would be swiftly restored. We are Head Over Heels to celebrate such a life-affi rming story with you this holiday season. It’s fun, it’s crazy and The Go-Go’s music is not to be missed. Wrap it around a tale that reminds us that joy and compassion are to be cherished and you’ve got a real holiday treasure. Let music lift our hearts. Let love lead the way.
