Christian Aid This year, every moment matters and every action counts in the struggle for climate justice The G7 is made up of the richest countries in the world and this June, G7 leaders are being hosted by the UK government in Cornwall. This is a unique opportunity for us to use our prophetic voice to help shape a more just world. At the G7 we’re asking the UK government to play a leading role to help crack the crises to build a fairer and greener world for all. As we can’t be physically present in Cornwall to raise our voices, we need to make sure the Prime Minister hears our voice another way. There are lots of ways for you and your church to get involved and keep building a fairer world for all. Check out how you can help: https://www.christianaid.org.uk/get-involved/campaigns/take-action- ahead-g7 Bishop of Bolton We are excited to tell you that the Bishop of Bolton Mark Ashcroft will be visiting us on Sunday 27th June for our Morning Service at 11.15am. We really hope you can join us. Time to say our goodbyes to Sam this Sunday! Sam Eccleston is moving on to be ordained and to work as a curate in Bury. He has been with us for 3 years and we want to say thanks and to wish him all the best. We'll say goodbye in our Sunday morning service which starts at 11.15am and then we will have a barbecue outside so bring along some food and stay to socialise (in a covid secure way) outside in the sunshine!
