Students can make up the cancelled class in any other class of their choice at the Academy in the same age/level. If a class/day has to be cancelled more than two times due to inclement weather, we will offer make-up classes. SICKNESS: As cold and flu season approaches, let’s all try to stay healthy! Please be mindful to keep your child home if he/she is not feeling well. All missed classes can be made up in an age appropriate class at your convenience. Nick DeMoura born and raised Fall River, Massachusetts and fell in love with dance. Nick was the Creative Director and Choreographer for Justin Bieber's BELIEVE World Tour, and is also known for his work on Step Up 3D, Prom Night, and Dance Flick. He and won Best Choreography in a Music Video for Justin Bieber's Beauty and The Beat at The Industry Voice Awards, and recently won Dancer of The Year at World Of Dance Industry Awards. Nick is a professional Hip-Hop dancer originally from Boston and now resides in LA, California. In Nick's first year as a dancer in LA he worked on many projects from Monsters of Hip-Hop Road Trip, Disney Music Videos, Nickelodeon, a couple of featured films, The Pussycat Dolls and was choreographer for the Austin Mahone 2014 Tour, American Idol Live 2013 Tour, Justin Bieber Believe Tour, New Kids On The Bock Tour and Justin Bieber Europe Promo Tour . Nick has choreographed the following music videos: Austin Mahone "Mmm Yeah"; Justin Bieber's "All Around the World", "Beauty and a Beat" "As Long As You Love Me"; Keke Palmer "The One You Call" and Maejor Ali "Lolly" music videos. He is also known for his work on the feature films Step Up 3D (2010) and Dance Flick (2009). CONGRATULATIONS! The Dance Company had such a great day attending the Headliners annual convention in Randolph, NJ. The following students were recognized with a scholarship: Samantha Tiersky, Chloe Ferber, Sam Turk, Gail Gluck, Mary Nugent, Ava Valetta and Alicia Gavzy. The following students were selected to perform in the showcase at the end of the convention: Sam Miller, Andrew DiLaura, Alicia Gavzy, Holly Newman, Sofie Ferber, Gail Gluck, Nicole Howard, Guiliana Tandurella, Ashling Bourke, Nicole Iemma, Sophia Simone, Ashley Weinstein, Brooke Forgette, Mary Nugent and Julia Huston. All of the dancers spent the day learning choreography and working with master teachers. We are very proud of their work ethic! Congratulations Dancers!
