This Valentine’s Day ALTBalaji launched the second season of its highly-anticipated web series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2 , which is a riveting take on love and romance. The famed actors of the Indian Television Industry Ronit Roy, Mona Singh, Gurdeep Kohli, Pooja Banerjee along with the content queen Ekta Kapoor, were seen promoting the web series in the capital city. After a super hit first season that delighted audiences, stalwarts of the Indian television industry, Ronit Roy, Mona Singh, Gurdeep Kohli, Apurva Agnihotri along with Pooja Banerjee and Palak Jain will be returning to the screens their roles with a short cameo by Parth Samthaan in the second season of Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain. With the audience having a host of questions, regarding what path the show takes post the first season’s conclusion, one can surely expect the second season to take the excitement quotient up another notch. In the upcoming season, the audiences will find the three protagonists (Mona, Gurdeep and Ronit) standing at different crossroads in their lives. Ananya (Mona) will be seen chasing her dreams and ambitions, while her heart still yearns for Rohit’s love; Rohit (Ronit) being shattered and angry with his love never being enough for Ananya, explores how to navigate the twists and turns in his life; and Poonam (Gurdeep) sets out on her own journey to find herself and love once again. The compelling web-series while answering questions, raises new ones surrounding the directions the lives of the protagonist will take. Commenting on the launch of the show, Ekta Kapoor, Producer, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain 2 said, “The show focuses on the fact that we believe in fairy tales till that point when we achieve what we want. She has made sure my current role is better than the previous one and if you see the history, she has proved it time and again. We received a lot of love and appreciation for the first season and I hope that viewers will like our second season as well.” Mona Singh quipped , “The character sketch of Ananya in the show is brilliant as no other show has shown the “other women” in a positive way. The show changes the concept of the other women and when I was offered the role, I was overwhelmed to hear the character. In the first season, Ananya falls in love with a man who happens to be married and now in season 2 will she will deal with her marriage. The whole journey and transition of Ananya is very interesting and I loved playing every bit of this character. The key purpose of these screen adaptations lies in giving visual appeal to the black and white words of the author’s writings. But film making satisfies the hunger of a large heterogeneous audience with the element of ‘entertainment’. The idea of screen adaptations dates back years ago when people had limited options for entertainment and recreational activities. Global growth, estimated at 3.1% in CY2015, is projected to improve to 3.4% in CY2016 and 3.7% in CY2017. The pick-up in global activity is projected to be more gradual, especially in the emerging markets and the developing economies. In its semi-annual World Economic Outlook, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) stated that the world economy is facing the threat of a synchronised slowdown and mounting risks including another bout of financial market turmoil, and a political backlash against globalisation. Worldwide, demand remained weak and the recent volatility in financial markets highlighted an uncertain international outlook, especially in China. “The emerging economies are slowing down, apart from India which is “doing pretty well”, Christine Lagarde, the chief of the International Monetary Fund stated. The pace of global GDP growth remained slow, driven by a collusion of multiple factors such as volatility and rebalancing in the Chinese economy. A drop in oil and other commodity prices, slowdown in emerging economies, and slow pick-up in major developed economies also contributed to the slow growth.
