On November 18, 2013, BBC One Northern Ireland HD was replaced by an SD channel on EPG Sky for hd subscribers. BBC One Northern Ireland's branding is used from 6am to the BBC News Channel with live continuity handled by a team of regional announcers who have doubled as play-off directors.
