As producers in the United States, we might not realize the agriculture potential of other countries. For example, take the top beef-producing and consuming countries: U.S., Brazil, EU-27, China and India. Do any of these countries surprise you with their rankings?

It’s not how you win, but it’s how you prepare yourself that makes you a winner. Everyone wants to win and be successful in everything they do, but may not take the first place prize or be awarded with the purple banner. That evening, LEAD participants will board the Steamboat Natchez for dinner and dancing as they cruise down the mighty Mississippi river. Before departing on Sunday, junior members will participate in industry and personal development workshops put on by the junior Board and professional speaker, Amy Gallimore. The weekend will also be filled with retiring thoughts and friendly competition. Plan to live it up with the NJAA in New Orleans. It is sure to be a weekend you won’t want to miss. It just so happened that this year, two best friends from Arkansas got to share this special moment together as they realized all of their hard work and long hours of preparation had truly paid off.
