NOTIFICATION

S. O. 1144(E). - Whereas M/s. Ansal SEZ Projects Limited, a fully Private Organization of the State of Haryana, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Badshahpur village, District Gurgaon, on Gurgaon-Sohna Road in the State of Haryana.

And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub- section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Badshahpur village, (District Gurgaon), on Gurgaon-Sohna Road in the State of Haryana on 6th November, 2006.

And whereas the Central Government has granted the letter of approval for the change of the name of the developer from “M/s Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Limited” to “M/s. Ansal SEZ Projects Limited” on 1st February 2008 to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Badshahpur village, (District Gurgaon), on Gurgaon-Sohna Road in the State of Haryana, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely: - Table
