In 1951, when the EDW property was purchased, a small group of ladies, known as the “Columbine Club” began their mission to support the knights of EDW, through various fundraising efforts . In 2001, reenergized and renamed, Ladies-U-Knighted have been instrumental in the refurbishing of the Old Council Home . The spirit and dedication is truly represented by one of its original and still acting members/officers, Treasurer Nancy Rougeux .
