The brief facts of the case as per the appeal and other records received along with it are that the appellant herein filed an application dated 05-11-2019 before the PIO / O/o The Assistant Secretary to Government, Chief Minister’s Office, Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application: TSIC The Public Information Officer / O/o The Assistant Secretary to Government, Chief Minister’s Office, Telangana Secretariat, Hyderabad vide letter No. 339/PAGB/RTI/2019-1 dated 16-11-2019, has transferred the application U/s. 6(3) of the RTI Act to the Public Information Officer / O/o The Collector and District Magistrate, Jagital, Jagtial District to furnish the information directly to the appellant. Further the Public Information Officer / The District Revenue Officer, O/o The Collector and District Magistrate, Jagital, Jagtial District vide letter No. F2/1307/2019 dated 29-11-2019, has transferred the application U/s. 6(3) of the RTI Act to the Public Information Officer / O/o The Municipal Commissioner, Jagtial Municipality, Jagtial District to furnish the information directly to the appellant under intimation to their office. Since the appellant did not receive the information from the Public Information Officer, he filed 1st appeal dated 30-12-2019 before the 1st Appellate Authority / The District Revenue Officer, O/o The Collector and District Magistrate, Jagital, Jagtial District u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting him to furnish the information sought by him. The 1st Appellate Authority / The District Revenue Officer, O/o The Collector and District Magistrate, Jagital, Jagtial District vide letter No. F2/82/2020 dated 06-02-2020, has given a reply to the appellant and also informed the appellant that the concerned 1st Appellate Authority is Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Hanamkonda, Warangal Urban District. P.T.O Note: This is system generated copy and no signature is required ::2:: As the appellant did not get the information from the Public Information Officer and 1st Appellate Authority, he preferred this 2nd appeal before this Commission u/s 19(3) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to take action against the PIO and 1st Appellate Authority for not furnishing information sought by him and also to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. The Appeal was taken on file and notices were issued to both the parties for hearing on 22-07-2021. The case is called on 22-07-2021. The Appellant is absent. The Public Information Officer / Smt. G. Tejaswini, Town Planning Supervisor, O/o The Municipal Commissioner, Jagtial Municipality, Jagtial District is present. The First Appellate Authority / O/o The Regional Director of Municipal Administration, Hanamkonda, Warangal Urban District is absent. The Public Information Officer submitted that vide letter No. 116/RTI/2020 dated 20-07-2021, available information was furnished to the appellant. The Commission observed that complete information as sought by the appellant is not furnished. The Commission directed the Public Information Officer to invite the appellant for verification of the records on a mutually convenient date within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order and to furnish further information if any with reference to his application filed U/s. 6(1) of the Act and to report compliance to the Commission. With the above direction, the appeal is closed.     JAGTIAL DISTRICT We acknowledge the content from http://jagitial.telangana.gov.in/district-profile Jagtial district is one of the 31 districts in the state of Telangana. Jagtial was carved out of Karimnagar district and was made as a district on October 11, 2016. Jagtial district is spread across an area of 3,043 square kilometers and has a population of 9,83,414 as per 2011 Census data. Jagtial town is the headquarters with a population of 1,03,962. Korutla is the second largest town with a population of 1,08,297. Jagtial and Metpally are the revenue divisions in this district. These are further divided into 18 mandals. Jagtial, Korutla, Dharmapuri, Choppadondi and Vemulawada Assembly constituencies are under Jagtial district. Jagtial town got its name from Jaggadeva. Godavari River flows through this district. There is Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University's Agricultural College in Polasa. Kotilingala located on the bank of Godavari River was an important town in ancient town during the period of the Assaka mahajanapada and the Satavahanas. Kistiah - DE/OP/Jagitail for the Respondents and having considered the record and submissions of both the parties, the Vidyut Ombudsman passed the following; AWARD ​ The Appellant filed an application No. NC11160424 Dt.25.11.2013 for domestic power connection disclosing in the Application that he wanted service connection to the premises in Sy No. 161-111 of Korutla. The Respondents, on enquiry, found that the Appellant has shown a different location than the one shown in his Application and that the land shown by the Appellant actually belongs to TSNPDCL and therefore, they rejected the application of the Appellant.
