Katoomba to Lithgow upgrade

NOVEMBER 2013 HARTLEY VALLEY SAFETY UPGRADE REVIEW OF ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

In July 2012 the Australian and governments announced a $250 million revised investment program to improve safety and travel conditions along the Great Western Highway between Katoomba and Lithgow. As part of this program, Roads and Maritime Services has developed a range of road safety upgrade options for Hartley Valley.

In October 2012 Roads and Maritime held displays in Hartley Valley to seek community feedback on the options.

Key issues raised at the community displays in October 2012
