NEW PACKAGING FOR 2017! RHEINHESSEN SS ~ SAPPHIRE SELECTION PRÄDIKATSWEIN

This range of wines – each bottled in the popular royal blue Schlegel flute – are delightfully fruity wines, covering the three main Prädikat levels –

Kabinett – Spätlese – Auslese

Each is produced from select grape varieties, including Bacchus, Faberrebe, Silvaner, Kerner, Huxelrebe, Ortega and Optima. These relatively early-ripening varieties – so called, Bouquet varietals – produce wines with a distinctive floral bouquet and an attractive spiciness.

Pale straw in color, this wine offers a lovely floral scent reminiscent of rose petal with a touch of all spice. On the palate there are abundant  Kabinett 750ml 102100 8.0 – 8.5% 48 gr/l 6 gr/l flavors of ripe pear, mango and peach. It’s very appealing and easy drinking as it delivers ripeness and concentration. The semi-sweet finish is long, with notes of mineral and hint of ginger and spice.

Golden straw in color, this wine offers a lovely floral scent of fresh blossoms. On the palate it offers a potpourri of rich, ripe fruit notes,  Spätlese 750ml 102150 8.5 – 9.0% 60 gr/l 6.5 gr/l including Bosc pear, mango, apricots and yellow peach. It’s very appealing and easy drinking as it delivers ripeness and concentration. The sweet finish is long and unwavering, with hints of mineral and spice.

Golden straw in color, this wine offers a wonderfully spicy, floral scent. On the palate it displays rich, tropical fruit flavors, including tangerine,  Auslese 750ml 102200 8.5 – 9.0% 77 gr/l 6.5 gr/l dried apricot, mango, and pineapple. It’s very appealing and easy drinking as it delivers superb ripeness and concentration. The finish is long and unwavering, with hints of mineral and spice and plenty of sweetness, but remains nicely balanced.

Fruity and refreshing, offering crisp green apple flavors, notes of fresh peach and pear with a solid core of zesty lemon-lime acidity, which  Riesling 750ml 102500 10 – 11% 22 gr/l 6.8 gr/l provides nice structure. The wine has moderate intensity with good balance and an off-dry, yet fruity finish.
