Itinerary Day 1: Saturday, November 6 • Depart USA Depart the USA on independently scheduled flights to Rome, Italy.

Day 2: Sunday, November 7 • Arrive in Rome Arrive in Rome and transfer on own to your hotel. Depending on your arrival, time for lunch before checking into your hotel with time to freshen up before an opening Mass followed by a welcome reception and dinner. Overnight in Rome.

Day 3: Monday, November 8 • Villa Farnesina & Women Who Rocked Rome Tour After breakfast, depart for the famous Renaissance Villa Farnesina with Dr. Liz Lev with its gorgeous Raphael paintings, followed by a casual walking tour in the beautiful neighborhood of Trastevere. Enjoy a group lunch before a special tour with Dr. Liz Lev highlighting the “Women who Rocked Rome”. Celebrate Mass at Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. Evening on own.

Day 4: Tuesday, November 9 • Ostia Antica This morning depart for Ostia Antica on the beautiful Roman coast. Enjoy a guided walking tour with Dr. Liz Lev of this archeological site noted for the excellent preservation of its ancient buildings, magnificent frescoes and impressive mosaics. Enjoy a special lunch on the coast before returning to Rome. Celebrate Mass at Tre Fontane Abbey, where the Apostle, St. Paul, was beheaded. This evening, enjoy a possible reception with the American Ambassador at Villa Richardson (pending confirmation). Overnight in Rome.

Day 5: Wednesday, November 10 • Papal General Audience | Mosaic Studio Breakfast at your hotel before attending the General Audience of the Holy Father with special seating on the Dias. Optional tour of the Mosaic Studio in the Vatican before lunch at Santa Marta, residence of the Holy Father. This afternoon, transfer for a visit to the convent where St. Mother Teresa stayed in Rome to be blessed by her relics and celebrate Mass. Remainder of day on your own. Overnight in Rome.

Day 6: Thursday, November 11 • Patrons Labs | Santa Rosa Scavi Tour | Patrons’ Gala Depart early this morning to St. Peter’s Basilica to celebrate private Mass. Tour the Vatican Museums restoration labs and see the restoration projects the Patrons have sponsored. Enjoy a coffee break in the Vatican Museums before departing for a guided tour of Santa Rosa Scavi tour. The necropolis, dating from about 50BC – 200AD, reveals a fascinating wealth of information about the lower social classes of which historians still know little. Time at leisure before departing for the Vatican Museums. Celebrate Mass at the Governatorato before a Patrons’ reception and gala dinner in the Vatican Museums. Overnight in Rome.

Day 7: Friday, November 12 • Return to USA Transfer on your own to the airport for independently scheduled return flights home.
