With the assistance of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, the vehicle was located and the occupants, Eduardo Morales, and Kadeem Phillips, were subsequently arrested by Tallahassee Police Department Officers. Six guns were located inside the stolen vehicle. One of the guns was discovered to be from a theft reported to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office on September 22, 2018, in the 6400 block of Iron Liege Trail. The TPD/LCSO Property Crimes Task Force assumed the investigation and discovered that Eduardo Morales, Kadeem Phillips, and Enrique Almanza were responsible for a total of 5 Auto Thefts, 19 Auto Burglaries, 2 Grand Theft of a Firearm, 4 Grand Thefts, 8 Petit Thefts, and 1 Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. Through the Task Force’s hard work, a total of 16 cases have been cleared.
