1pm – LUNCH AT YE OLDE TRIP TO JERUSALEM, ENGLAND’S OLDEST INN

Enjoy a two-course pub lunch with Robin Hood in this enchanting inn carved into the rock upon which stands. Robin Hood will entertain with further tales of the Robin Hood legend, along with the history of the Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, which dates back an incredible 800 years. Private and extended tours of the pub, including the pub cellars and caves, can be arranged with advanced notice.

Groups will enjoy their lunch in a private lounge upstairs in the pub which seats up to 40 guests.

Accessibility: For the less mobile, dining facilities are available on the ground floor of the pub.

AFTERNOON – FREE TIME IN NOTTINGHAM

Spend the afternoon further exploring Nottingham’s great modern culture and historic past. Visit an 800-year-old jail and courtroom at The , take in modern art at , enjoy a huge range of international dining, or browse boutique stores and unique independent shops. Pose for a photo by the city’s iconic Robin Hood statue, beneath the walls of Nottingham Castle.

Note: After a major renovation project, Nottingham Castle will re-open in spring 2020 and will feature a Robin Hood exhibition, adventure playground, cave tours and galleries relating Castle Road, Nottingham to Nottingham’s rebellious history.
