Making the arts accessible in all Westchester communities is at the heart of ArtsWestchester’s mission. One of the many ways this goal is met is through the Arts Alive Grants. These funds are available for community- based arts projects, for artists to create new work, as well as for arts edu- cation-related projects that partner with local schools. Priority is given to emerging cultural organizations, activities that bring the arts to underserved communities, and projects that engage a broad and diverse audience. Working artists are the lifeblood of a creative community.
