Package Contents (1) Bionic Navigator 3D 4.0 Installer (SC-7101-400) containing installation file for 9028372-400 This device is to be disposed of per local regulatory requirements. Software Installation Boston Scientific Neuromodulation (BSN) employees: To complete the installation, you will need your Clinician Programmer (CP) and another VPN- enabled BSN computer. This installation may only be performed on a compatible model CP, listed in this manual. On your BSN computer, after completing the VPN process, you will follow steps outlined below to 1) receive an activation key and 2) provide a confirmation key to allow BSN to track the installation. The steps below must be repeated to install the software on each compatible CP as each installation requires a unique activation key. If you encounter any issues during installation, please call Technical Support at 877-282-5313. Non-BSN employees: To complete the installation, you will need your Clinician Programmer (CP). This installation may only be performed on a compatible model CP, listed in this manual. To obtain activation keys, provide confirmation keys to BSN, and to report any issues, please contact your local sales representative. The steps below must be repeated to install the software on each compatible CP as each installation requires a unique activation key. Installer for Bionic Navigator 3D 4.0 - Installation Guide 92395585-02 1 of 205 Installer for Bionic Navigator 3D 4.0 - Installation Guide Software Installation on CP en Note: If you are using BN 3D 2.20 (Win10) or BN 3D 2.10 (Win10), ensure that they are installed prior to the installation of BN 3D 4.0. Verify that you have received the 9028372-400 Installer by following the steps below: 1. Plug the CP into a power source. Note: The CP must be plugged in and charged to at least 30% in order to perform software installation steps below. 2. Turn on the CP. If the CP is already on, restart the CP prior to installation. 3. Navigate to the CP desktop and ensure that all applications are closed. 4. From the CP desktop, launch AirWave . 5. Insert the Installer USB into an unused USB port. 6. Click “Import from USB” button in AirWave to launch the File Explorer window. 7. Within the file explorer window pop-up, navigate to the USB drive and then select the installation file named “SC7101400.bsnpkg.” 8. Open the installation file. 9. Click Yes on the popup notification to start the installation process. 10. Verify that the displayed Software Part Number is 9028372-400, as shown below: Note: Obtaining an activation key is described in the following steps. BSN employees: continue to steps 11-16. Non-BSN employees: Contact your local sales representative to obtain an activation key, then continue to step 17. Installer for Bionic Navigator 3D 4.0 - Installation Guide 92395585-02 2 of 205 Web Activation Portal Web Activation Portal en 11. On a BSN computer, log onto the BSN VPN. 12. Once connected to the VPN, open a web browser and connect to the BSN Product Activation Portal using the following URL: http://valapp16/SAP/ActivateSAP/ 13. Click on “Activate CP Software”. 14. Use the drop down arrow to select the CP Model, then input the CP Serial Number and Software Part Number displayed on the CP screen into the appropriate field on the web page. Note: Serial numbers are case-sensitive. Also note that the letter “O” and the number “0” look similar and must be distinguished. Click “Get Activation Key” to generate the activation key. Record the activation key, to be en used in the following “Software Installation on CP” step. The activation key is valid for five (5) days. 16. Click on the “Return to Main Menu” link. Software Installation on CP 17. On the CP, input the activation key generated from the web activation portal or provided by the local sales representative. 18. Click the Activate button. 19. Click Next on the Installation screen. This process may take several minutes as the system is being reconfigured to support the new application. Various status messages will be displayed as the Installer updates. 20. Click Finish to complete installation. 21. After successful installation, a new window with a Confirmation Key will be displayed. 22. Record the confirmation key displayed on the screen and select “OK”. Note: The Confirmation Key is also displayed in the Bionic Navigator 3D system on the Configuration->Software Information tab under the computer icon. If you do not see a successful installation message, or the Software Part Number does not display correctly, contact your local field support representative. 23. Remove the Installer from the CP. 24. Restart the CP to complete the installation. BSN employees: continue to steps 25-29. Non-BSN employees: Contact your local sales representative to provide the Confirmation Key. Installation is now complete, and the Installer may be removed from the USB port. 25. Open Bionic Navigator 3D and navigate to Configurations Tab. Installer for Bionic Navigator 3D 4.0 - Installation Guide 92395585-02 4 of 205 Web Activation on BSN Portal 26. Click on the Software Information Tab and view the Software Part Number. It will now read: en “9028372-400”, as shown in the following screen: Web Activation on BSN Portal 27. On the Product Activation Portal, click on “Confirm Activation”. 28. Input the confirmation key from the CP into the displayed field on the web activation portal. 29. Click “Confirm Activation” button. Uninstall and Remove Software on CP To uninstall and remove software on the CP, follow the steps below: 1. Navigate to the CP desktop and ensure that all applications and programs are closed. 2. Double-click the AirWave icon to launch AirWave. 3. Within the AirWave window, identify which software you would like to uninstall. Select the Uninstall button adjacent to the software application title that you wish to uninstall. Note: After the software is uninstalled, the software can be reinstalled at a later date without an Installer USB. Select “Remove Bionic Navigator 3D and all features” and then select Next to proceed with the uninstallation. Note: If you would like to delete the database, select Delete Database Only and proceed through the prompts to complete database deletion. 6. When prompted, select Yes to proceed with the uninstallation and then select Finish once the uninstallation is complete. 7. When prompted select OK to restart the CP. 8. Confirm the software was successfully uninstalled. Note: Once the software is uninstalled, the two buttons displayed next to the software title will be “Install” and “Remove”. 9. If desired, the software can be completely removed from the CP after uninstallation by selecting the Remove button adjacent to the software title. Note: After the software has been removed from the CP, the software can be reinstalled at a later date using an Installer USB. 10. Select Yes to proceed with the software removal. Connect to WiFi. 2. Using the touch pad on the keyboard, move the pointer to the bottom of the screen to bring up the Status Bar. 3. Select to show hidden icons. 4. Select the McAfee Icon in the Status Bar. 5. Select McAfee Agent Status Monitor. 6. Select Collect and Send Props on the McAfee Agent Monitor dialog (upper right button). Wait for the “Agent communication session closed” message to appear in the Agent Status en List (about 1 to 2 minutes). 8. Restart the CP. 9. Proceed to install software beginning at Step 3 of the “Software Installation on CP” section of this manual.
