MOBILE CLINICAL UNIT The Ifor Williams, Mobile Clinical Unit, is an innovative solution which has been designed to increase clinical capacity, whilst prioritising the safety of patients and staff and allowing for flexible use in a variety of healthcare contexts. The Mobile Clinical Unit provides a number of solutions, not only as a safe and separate area for Covid-19 patient assessments, but also for wider clinical practice and other applications: Covid-19 Applications • Providing safe and separate facilities, to keep symptomatic patients away from non-symptomatic patients. • Covid-19 Vaccination Unit. Routine Clinical Applications • Increasing clinical capacity for routine clinical assessments. • Vaccination unit to support routine vaccinations for children in school or for routine winter vaccinations in the community. • Mobile Clinical Unit for rural communities for GP assessments or for hospital specialty out-reach services.
