Shri. L. Gopalakrishnan Managing Trustee

Dear friends, PSG Institute of Management concluded its Golden Jubilee Celebrations this year. At this juncture, it is indeed a rewarding experience to revisit the year that has gone by. The report talks about a plethora of activities, awards, events and research initiatives that punctuated the entire year. With such vibrant initiatives, I am sure PSGIM is moving decisively towards its Diamond Jubilee. As one of the leading management institutions, PSGIM has always set benchmarks and that to me is excellence which has become a habit today. A lot of initiatives from academic research to consultancy to industry interaction has seen the institute reach the pinnacle of success and these measures will continue to transform management education and bring laurels to our esteemed institution. I take this opportunity to commend the team headed by our Director Dr. R Nandagopal for bringing out such a wonderful report. I wish all the very best to his team.

Dr. R. Nandagopal Director, PSG Institute of Management

Dear Friends I take immense pleasure in presenting the annual report for this year. This report is a reflection of our attitude and global aspirations. This will be a great resource in a way that it tracks our activities, in the class and outside the class, which we believe can impart and nurture humanistic values. It is to the glory of the institution that we have some of the best faculty members and best students from this part of the world. At PSG Institute of Management the emphasis has always been to be entrepreneurial and industrious as is our legacy. With this, we give students ample opportunities to excel themselves in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We also span a host of cultural events to relive and appreciate the flavor of our great nation's heritage and tradition and this helps them to be the global Indian. We have also had a lot of achievements in faculty and students and these are now recorded very well in the pages to follow. There are special pages on research and consultancy which is an important part of our academic and industry link initiatives. This annual report will be an excellent reference to our achievements and a benchmark to the next academic year. I also would like to place on record the excellent work put in by our faculty team and the contribution of our students. At this juncture, we resolve to march forward towards our Diamond Jubilee, guided by our Mission to “Raise the bar” in Management Education.
