(g) Make all arrangements for the timely and cost-effective publication of the yearbook. (h) Conduct any further duties determined by the Executive Committee and Management Team. Junior Captain: Oli Abbott (Pannal GC) GENERAL – A Junior is a player who is under 18 years on the 1st January in the current year, and age category will apply as of that date. Caddies are not allowed in Junior League matches or in Junior Competitions.

5.33 JUNIOR INTER CLUB LEAGUE a) Each of the 12 Union participating clubs will form the league and will play each other ONCE during the period 1st April – 30th September each year. A draw will be undertaken to determine the home club for 2019, the home clubs for subsequent years will alternate (i.e. 2019 club A v club B / 2020 club B v club A) Should a club not have a junior team clubs drawn against them will get a bye and 0 points allocated. b) A club team shall consist of six players and play singles match play, with 100% difference in handicap allowed from the lowest player. c) Should a team not have the required number of players on a match day (Matches MUST be played over a minimum of 4 matches) failure to field the required number of games they will forfeit game points to the opposing team. d) The handicap range shall be 0-36 for the first 4 games; these will gain 2points for a win and 1 point for a half game. The remaining two games will have a maximum handicap allowance of 54 and will gain 1 point for a win and 0.5 for a half game e) The match points will be 2 points for a team win and 1 point for a half. f) Matches 5 & 6 will play off the yellow tees. These may be played over 9 holes and/or from shorter tees providing the course is measured (has a SSS) by mutual consent of the two club JLO’s g) Girls may play in the league matches with the same handicap allowance as above. 40 41 HDUGC LADIES’ WINTER LEAGUE General Information 1. The twelve clubs participate in six Greensome Stableford meetings each winter from October to March on the first Monday of each month (where possible). Yearly subscription to be decided by the Treasurer as needed- no cheques please. HUTCHINSON WEALTH 2. Three couples from each club play a Greensome Stableford, the handicap allowance is 60%of the lowest and 40%of the highest course handicap.There is a conversion table provided in the WHS manual. The maximum aggregate handicap index for each pair is 72. All three scores to count. Handicap index MANAGEMENT LTD certificates should be presented on the day. 3. If a club is unable to field three couples, they must provide a marker for the missing pair/pairs. 4. Entry fee £6 per couple (no cheques please). Prizes: 1st £15x2 (£30) 2nd £13x2 (£26) 3rd £10x2 (20) Prizes to be M&S vouchers to be purchased by the treasurer. Remainder of monies (£140) as facilities to the host club. The Treasurer will collect £76 on the day OR monies to be given to the member of the Treasurer’s home team to pass Providing Tailored on to the Treasurer. 5. Host Club Captain to be responsible for arrangements for the meeting and for the distribution of winning vouchers & forwarding the results to the Secretary. If the Advice in: course is closed or the Lady Captain decides conditions are unsuitable on the day to play, the meeting is postponed for one week. If the meeting is postponed twice, it is abandoned, excepting the last meeting of the season when, if possible, a third ~ Investment Planning ~ date should be arranged. If at all possible, decisions to postpone or cancel should be made the day before and the Secretary notified immediately. Once begun, the competition must be completed, unless the course becomes unplayable, then the meeting will be played the following week. If electric trolleys are allowed at the discretion of the host club, please check whether winter wheels are required. If any host club knows of a trolley ban prior to the date of the meeting, please forewarn the other clubs. If there is a ban there are no exceptions for age or disability. Buggies are not allowed. Caddies ARE allowed. It is advised that all competitors come prepared for all eventualities as conditions can change overnight. 7.
