Publicado por: Redacción Digital La selección de Francia no pudo llegar al gol y empató en su debut del Mundial de fútbol Sudáfrica 2010 ante Uruguay, un resultado que para los uruguayos tuvo mejor sabor de boca porque jugaron los últimos diez minutos del partido con un futbolista menos tras la expulsión de Nicolás Lodeiro. El francés Sidney Govou y el uruguayo Diego Forlán generaron las mejores oportunidades de gol para sus equipos durante el primer tiempo del duelo correspondiente al grupo A. Govou desperdició la primera ocasión de gol a los siete minutos cuando remató desviado un centro rasante desde la izquierda ejecutado por Franck Ribery. En cambio, Forlán remató con potencia desde el borde del área a los 16 minutos, y el arquero francés Hugo Lloris tapó sin mucho problema. Dos minutos después, el portero uruguayo Fernando Muslera se lució al lanzarse para sacar del ángulo un tiro libre de Yoann Gourcuff. A partir de ese momento el partido tuvo una sola dirección, con Francia en busca del gol y los uruguayos defendiendo con sus últimas fuerzas. En el tiempo agregado Henry tuvo una falta al borde del área rival pero su remate dio en la barrera uruguaya. OL, Ligue 1 economic leader Lyon, 24 March 2009 OL, Ligue 1 economic leader The 2007-08 annual report published by the financial regulatory body of the French football league (Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion) on 12 March has confirmed the economic performance of Olympique Lyonnais and its determining impact on the cumulative economic results of Ligue 1. For the 2007-08 season OL, who prepare their consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS, as adopted by the European Union, accounted for a major share of the total Ligue 1 financial statements and remains the principal economic driver in the development of French football. For the 2007-08 season Olympique Lyonnais accounted for: 64% of the cumulative net profit of the 20 Ligue 1 clubs, with €20.1m 50% of the net cash reserves of the 20 Ligue 1 clubs, with €100.5m 47% of the shareholders’ equity of the 20 Ligue 1 clubs, with €164.8m 31% of the total amount spent on player acquisitions for the season, with €78.3m Red Cross and OL Fondation partnership OL Fondation and the French Red Cross have set up a joint programme for the training of young sportspeople in first aid techniques. A DVD to raise awareness has been produced in partnership with the Fondation du Football and involving international OL players Sidney Govou and Corine Franco. 3,000 DVDs will be distributed, including 1,500 to all amateur football clubs in the Rhône-Alpes league.
