At the Zoo, your guests can sip cocktails immersed in a world of brilliantly colored birds, dine in the midst of majestic great apes and celebrate in glamorous style with our rare and exotic big cats. America’s first zoo offers a wide range of spaces and locations to serve as the scene for your special occasion. Choose from a LEED-certified building with world-class educational demonstrations, floor-to-ceiling glass exhibits that let your guests get “within inches” of their favorite creatures, or outdoor plazas with breathtaking views of nature and magnificent fountains.

Event Packages Evening events include exclusive access to a private venue for four hours where your guests will have the opportunity to explore and learn about wildlife. Packages also include parking on designated secure lots (up to 200 cars) and event hosts to manage event details. Events must take place between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Event Venues PECO PRIMATE RESERVE With engaging exhibits and a versatile layout, this venue offers endless opportunities for your custom event. Guests will dine amongst great apes and spirited small primates, including majestic silverback gorillas and frolicking lemurs. And in fair weather, the venue’s boardwalk entry makes for a welcoming cocktail hour location. PECO Primate Reserve is truly like no other venue in the city. h Capacity...... RARE ANIMAL CONSERVATION CENTER AND IMPALA PLAZA The Rare Animal Conservation Center is home to some of the Zoo’s most exotic and endangered animals and is one of the Zoo’s most popular event venues. Adjacent to the Conservation Center, Impala Plaza features a grand fountain with a backdrop of mature trees and is surrounded by Zoo360® animal trails. KIDZOOU: HAMILTON FAMILY CHILDRENS ZOO & FARIS FAMILY EDUCATION CENTER Delight kids of all ages at your next celebration at KidZooU! This LEED Gold-certified building has incredible indoor galleries and gorgeous outdoor vistas housing heritage breeds of mini horses, goats, lambs, and many more. KEYBANK BIG CAT FALLS KeyBank Big Cat Falls is home to big cats from around the world, including beautiful African lions, snow leopards and rare Amur tigers. M C NEIL AVIAN CENTER Birds of a feather party together. The neoclassical Bird House features an original historical façade, countered by a state-of-the-art interior filled with colorful exhibits full of sights and sounds. HAPPY HOUR AT THE WATERING HOLE 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Available Monday through Thursday only; Memorial Day through Labor Day Philadelphia Zoo’s beer garden, is a great place for guests to hang out, grab a specialty beer and a tasty treat while enjoying the outdoors in an open air oasis. This cool spot features reclaimed conversation-style seating, fabric shade umbrellas, lush landscaping and environmentally-friendly LED lighting. The chill atmosphere is complemented with a robust craft beer and pub fare menu. Each happy hour package includes a live animal experience allowing guests to mingle with colleagues, friends and their favorite creatures! DOUBLE THE FUN Perhaps you’re having a difficult time selecting your favorite animals? Philadelphia Zoo has the solution for you, and discounts too! Combination rental packages are popular with event guests because they have the opportunity to see more of America’s first zoo. Start your event with a cocktail reception in one location and finish the evening with a delicious dinner surrounded by another incredible animal experience. When selecting two or more venues for your event, a 15% discount will be applied to the venue rental fees.

WINTER AT THE ZOO February 1 through March 31 Enjoy a generous 25% discount on venue rental fees during the cooler months. Events at the Zoo are a unique year-round affair and offer a fun and memorable experience for holiday office parties and customer appreciation events. Bring your guests to the Zoo during the offseason for a truly unforgettable occasion and incredible savings!
