DONEL: THE ARTIST Raised in Zimbabwe, Donel is an 18 year old British artist with the whole package. Complete with an infectious personality, Donel can sing, write, dance, perform and present. Since leaving The Voice UK aged just 16, Donel has been working hard on writing his own music, and building his fanbase online.
Blending afrobeat with modern pop & R&B, Donel’s music is feel good, uplifting and positive. He weaves Zimbabwean ‘Ndebele’ into his lyrics, and writes all of his own toplines. Prince Harry wrote to him personally, inviting him to perform for the Queen’s 92ndBirthday celebrations at The Royal Albert Hall, and introduced him on stage as ‘a star of the future.’
He was also flown to China to perform for the Miss World Finale. Furthermore, he has toured the UK with Rak-Su.
