Over the two teams 15 meetings in 2017, the LumberKings dropped eight games to the Chiefs to lose the season series 7-8. Clinton could not defend home filed and dropped all but two of the seven meetings at Ashford University Field. At Dozer Park the LumberKings faired better and won five out of the eight Series Information meetings. The LumberKings trail the all-time series, dating back to 1983, 238 to 211. His first rehab start came with the Palm Beach Cardinals of High-A Florida State League. He worked 3.1 innings allowing no runs on four hits while walking one and Greene (DET), W, 1 IP, 0 R, 2 K 2018 Meetings: striking out six. The start will be his first in the Midwest League since 2014 when he spent all of his season in Peoria and went 7-7 with a 3.62 ERA. Reyes made his Major League debut in 2016 with St. Louis. Cubs reliever Jose Albertos issued four walks in the inning leading to the run. With runners a 8/14 at Peoria 7:00 PM first and third and one out Ariel Sandoval bounced into what looked like an inning ending double play. This marks the third stop of the season long 10-game road MWL 1st Half Standings 16-21 4th 6.0 GB trip. Thus far, the LumberKings have won each of the first two series two game to one against the West Michigan Whitecaps and South bend Cubs. Peoria has struggled so mightily against left-handed pitching this season, they own one of the most dramatic disparities in the Midwest League. While Chiefs batters are collectively batting .304 against Wisconsin 16-19 4.5 19-13 T1st 0.0 GB right-handers, they are batting just .195 (39/200) without a home run against left-handed pitching this season.
