You have made them in your image and given them children to care for and love. Leader: Bless them with a heart like your heart: ALL: discerning and thoughtful, bold and decisive, compassionate and loving. Leader: As they model for their children the life that is lived by faith and not by sight, ALL: grant them courage under pressure and confidence in your power. Leader: When troubles threaten to overwhelm them, ALL: grant them calm hearts, and enable them to trust in your promises. Leader: When joy fills their days, ALL: grant them a keen gratitude for your many blessings. In everything, preserve them as your own, and strengthen their faith to love you above all. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen. Opening Prayer Leader: Please stand and join me in our Opening Prayer All: Lord God, on this Father’s Day, remind us that we are all your children, welcomed and loved by you always. Open our eyes Lord, to see people as you see them, and to love people the way you love them. We pray all this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen. Moreover, as people of faith, we know that we have a generous God of abundance. We share what God has entrusted to us, so that everyone can experience God’s kingdom. You can respond to God’s call by giving electronically through our website, by sending a gift by mail, or you can give now by using your phones and texting 833-523-0429.
